Do you need to move widgets from WordPress website to another, back up widgets or quickly add sample widgets to a theme you’re developing?
I recently discovered the free Widget Importer & Exporter plugin and it took care of some issues I was having with site migrations.
It’s particularly useful if you’re changing themes or renaming a child theme folder, because this can often cause widgets to be dropped from the theme.
