Q2. Consumer interaction with technology leaves trails of data identifying, exposing and threatening everything from their bank account to their life. What websites and apps do you use as a consumer and does it make you think about your own business practices?
Q3. On April 1st 2018 the ICO annual registration fee will increase. For most of us it will be £55 annually up from £35. Did you know it’s a criminal offence not to register, unless you are exempt?
Q4. As you probably know, GDPR (an update to the DPA ’98) becomes enforceable on May 25th ’18. It’s needed to bring law surrounding data in to the 21st century. And yes, it’s an EU law! How do you feel about this and are you getting prepared?
Q5. The idea of getting rid of encryption (https) is being bandied about in the UK. Do you think the governments actually understand the technology they draft the laws for?
